Merz Skin Quality Workshop, Hands-On Training Session March 2026

On 11 March 2026, I had the honour of spending an enriching morning at the National University Hospital, where I conducted a highly interactive, hands-on training session alongside my esteemed colleagues, Dr Tuck Wah Siew, Dr Je-Young Park, and Dr Martina Kerscher, for fellow practitioners.

Organised by Merz Aesthetics, the session, aptly called the Skin Quality Workshop, was designed to explore the latest research-backed techniques to enhance skin health in Asian complexion.

Dr Ivan Puah is the appointed trainer-to-doctors for injectable neurotoxins and dermal fillers for Merz Aesthetics.

Throughout the day, we focused on modern methods to effectively reduce pore size and address common skin concerns, such as atrophic acne scars and pigmentation irregularities.

We explored the importance of tailoring treatment plans that prioritise natural results while offering patient-focused, evidence-based solutions.

Dr Ivan Puah is seen here demonstrating modern techniques to improve skin quality, including reducing pore size and addressing atrophic acne scars.

Even though I have been the trainer in injectable neurotoxins and dermal fillers at Merz Aesthetics since 2018, I still feel a profound privilege to share my knowledge and experience with fellow practitioners.

Our goal as aesthetic doctors is to enrich our patients’ experience. After all, their results and satisfaction are a testament to our success and skill sets.
